Boon v. Alkosser, Buker v. Alkosser:
Appeals Case
Successfully appealed an order granting the trial court's motion to dismiss the action for failure to prosecute. The order was reversed and the case remanded for further proceedings.

Woo v. HSBC:
Wrongful Termination
Substantial six-figure settlement for employee who was terminated without good cause. Plaintiff was an employee of the bank and its predecessor for over 12 years. Plaintiff started as a loan processor and over the years, was promoted to Vice President and Operations Manager. Plaintiff continued to receive salary increases and consistent performance reviews stating that she met and often exceeded performance expectations. Plaintiff's employment was terminated due to alleged violations of the Bank’s Code of Ethics, and later on was told by Human Resources that her termination was allegedly due to unsatisfactory performance.

Mason v. Sorrento:
Breach of Employment Agreement
Favorable six-figure settlement for employee who was not paid his fees under a Consulting Agreement. Employer stopped paying Plaintiff claiming that Plaintiff did not execute a Proprietary Information and Inventions Agreement. Plaintiff maintains that he was not required to sign one. Due to employer’s breach of the Consulting Agreement, Plaintiff was entitled to accelerate all payments called for by the contract.

Hsia v. Viva Life:
Breach of Written and Oral Contract
Substantial six-figure settlement in an action for compensatory and punitive damages. Defendants were engaged in the international manufacture, sales and distribution of health and nutritional supplements. Plaintiff was instrumental in helping Defendants build a successful multi-national business operation. In consideration for plaintiffs’ efforts and to induce plaintiffs to work for Defendants, Defendants promised to pay plaintiff a percentage of gross worldwide sales throughout the life of Defendants’ business operation, and to grant plaintiffs a percentage equity stake in Defendant’s international business operations. Defendants then refused to pay plaintiffs the agreed upon amounts and refused to deliver the equity stakes that were promised.

Chrisaljen v. Yu:
Breach of Contract, Negligent Misrepresentation
Favorable settlement for purchasers of restaurant. Sellers misrepresented true sales amounts and inflated purchase price of the business.

New City Group v. Young & Chris:
Breach of Contract, Negligent Misrepresentation
Favorable settlement for purchasers of restaurant. Sellers and broker misrepresented true sales amounts and inflated purchase price of the business.

Hasunjung v. Woo Jin Trading:
Trademark Infringement
Successfully brought summary judgment for Defendants who were sued for trademark infringement. Fourteen years after granting Defendant permission to use Plaintiff’s mark, Plaintiff sued Defendants over continued use of the mark.
